Our History
Established in 1996 and registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2009, Hearts for Animals Wellness Center is located in the Hauula/Laie area on the northeast shore of Oahu. Our XX-acre animal sanctuary provides a safe place for animals in need as well as a communing opportunity for people seeking solace or relief from the stressors of daily life.
Our Mission
To be a voice for animals through the eyes of a child, inspiring compassion and action, inspiring communication and love through interactions with the animals in their natural environment, ending animal cruelty, and working locally and thinking globally.
Meet the Owner
I come from a family with a strong love and respect for animals, so my passion for animal rescue and rehabilitation began as a child. Over the years I’ve balanced working to pay the bills with my animal rescue efforts until finally one day I decided to embrace the idea of love what you do and do what you love. Through Hearts for Animals Wellness Center I’m realizing my vision of providing help and healing to animals and people alike.
