The Greatest Gift Of The Human Imagination Is That It Has No Limits Or Ending
PLEASE SEND GOOD THOUGHTS OUR WAY, MAX IS MISSING - SINCE LAST NIGHT!!1

Heading out to feed the horses and work a little bit with the baby. He is growing up so fast, and is just SO SWEET!!! I need to continue to work with him daily so that he doesn't turn into the testosterone monster in 6 months!
Kitty Kitty on my desk 🙂 She is such a love!
Our first rescue of the year! Felix and I had to climb the mountain and literally follow the distress calls from this poor baby. He was wrapped around a tree up to his head by a chain and would have certainly died had we not found him. He was starving and had no way of getting water. this is exactly where we found him! 🙁
This Pretty Much Sums It Up! Heart Breaking But Oh So True!
"All may be different in their own way, but all want the same love and kindness"... I found this on Renee Marie Paxton's wall and loved it! Thank you!!!
Another Dog Found By My Friend Dawn! Please Cross Post, We Believe She Has A Home And Her Family Will Be Missing Her!
Aloha Kitty May will benefit from the program offered by Hawaiian Humane Society this Sunday, thanks to her sponsors, Tina, Seth, Kristin and Beth <3 Full story on our blog.
Rainbow Bridge Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...
I just saw this poor little guy on Craig's List 🙁 Anyone in Hawaii who is looking for a dog? He looks pretty sad in his current conditions......... Small mix breed puppies(boxer/pug/chiwawa), need new home come and pick up #393-1416
Enjoying life Resting from a Dog’s Life.
Shar Peis looking for great homes! There's a mama, 3 girl pups, and 2 boy pups. Pups are 9 weeks old, wormed 3 times, and had their 1st shots. They are wrinkly cute, all black, with purple tongues, and the Chinese horse coat. Mama and Dad were abandoned, and mama was pregnant at the time. Interested? Susan Matsui
The donkeys are liking their little shack. So cute! They have successfully identified me as the "food wagon" and now actually walk up to greet me when I pull up to the gate. <3 Progress <3 They are wild donkeys who have never had real interaction with humans until they were rounded up on the Big Island and shipped over here! Poor little guys must be confused at best but are coming around nicely. Breaks my heart to think of the others who may be shipped to California because no one wants to designate land...........Fingers crossed, we can find a solution here!
We have a sponsor for one donkey who will be coming to live at H.F.A.I. and are hoping to get one more sponsor so that we can bring a pair. I believe they will have an easier time adapting to a new environment with two vs. just one. <3 Thank you Eva (Nana) Allerstorfer for stepping up to sponsor one of our girls 🙂

Friendly reminder: Don't Leave Your Animals, Babies or Grandparents In The Car!!!!!!!!!
The veal industry was created as a "by-product" of the dairy industry to take advantage of an abundant supply of unwanted male calves. Don't condemn, baby calves to death, or mother cows to a life without their babies. Don't drink cow's milk. Use a vegan alternative.♥
Have to agree........

I used a halter to secure the front of Angels harness 🙂 Works great!
<3 Love my Munchkin <3 She is doing so well on her daily dose of my Herbalife ~ Joint support, Cell activator and Multivitamin! At 13 years young, she is active, and enjoys running at the ranch with Alex and Max <3
Max needs your good thoughts and prayers ♥ He was stomped by a donkey Sunday and has a shattered pelvis & fractured spine 🙁 All thoughts of healing are welcomed! Thank you! He is home with me now on complete "bed rest" for 6-8 weeks and main concern is his ability to move his bowels. If he can manage that, he will be okay in time. If not.............:(
Word For The Day!! www.heartsforanimals.org
I Walked Through The Humane Society Last Week And It Is JUST HEARTBREAKING To See How Many Adult Dogs Are "Surrendered" ...Shame On Those People! Would They Surrender Their Kids??? Probably!
Kt NoDots 21 hours ago Today's kitten photo!!! All four are doing well. Their canine teeth are growing in but they are still drinking from the bottle. ALL nails were clipped today. The little one (top L) still looks like Yoda but the others are already blossoming into the beauties they will ultimately be! They will be dog-friendly when my fostering is done. Think about good homes for the two pairs, please. Did you know that Christmas is 36 days from today? Ho ho ho! www.heartsforanimals.org
Great Message <3 Pertains To All Living Creatures <3
Inner Peace If you can start the day without caffeine, If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains, If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles, If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it, If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time, If you can take criticism and blame without resentment, If you can conquer tension without medical help, If you can relax without alcohol, Then You Are Probably The Family Dog! And you thought I was going to get all spiritual..
I have two black rescue dogs Munchkin and Buddy Dueno <3 They are both amazing <3 Did you know that black dogs are often ignored by those looking to adopt a pet? It is called Black Dog Syndrome. If you are looking to adopt or know someone who is, please remember to notice the black dogs too! Seal taking a rest on beach in Laie. Needed to sleep and was quite aggitated by the time I arrived to "rope her off" from space invading humans! Thank you to Lori Rogers and her sister Carrie for calling me without knowing that I am one of the appointed "guardians" for the Hawaiian Monk Seals. We were able to secure the area so that the sweet pea could rest in peace! http://www.fpir.noaa.gov/PRD/prd_hms_index.html
Happy Day!! We are officially Tax Exempt 501c3 as of 11-18-14!!! Just got off the phone with the IRS to confirm as I didn't receive the letter. UPDATE!! ****FOUND!!!!****** AMBER ALERT!!!! PLEASE SHARE WITH HONOLULU PEEPS!! Reward for lost blue and gold macaw lost again on Sunday (August 6) afternoon at 2107 Kalawahine Place, Makiki, near Roosevelt HS. 'Oliver' was on his perch eating treats. His wings were clipped recently. We knew he could not fly but could glide a short distance for his own safety. Apparently, he was startled and glided longer than we thought possible to the canopy of a tree below, on Mott Smith Drive. He did a similar thing a few months ago. We have been very careful but it happened again. The fire department could not help. We stood watch overnight. Sunday (August 7) morning he managed to glide off to the treetops below. We have not stopped looking. We have Ollie since he was a chick and love him so very much. We are devastated. His mate calls him incessantly. She is not eating or sleeping. No one at home is. We ask for your help. Ollie is a large male, blue and gold. Microchipped. We offer a REWARD. Thank you. Please Text if found to : 808-386-0126
